Freezing Rain in Watertown, Hot Music in Allston
The burning sessions are a creative agenda for an annual reunion, two college roommates carrying on a tradition of after-hour parties listening to album sides (and, often-times, driving away the cute girls with our choice of music).
Over the years the sessions have been a forum to discuss issues in this journey called life, and the pressures and rewards that comprise the fabric of growing younger. Mostly the sessions are about communication, a running dialogue of dangling conversations with music at its core.
From 1985 to the present we've recorded 631 bands, 2,366 songs, blown one amp and a set of speakers. These are the burning sessions, a body of work we've compiled with annual regularity for more than 27 years.
If you're reading this, we hope you explore the music, discovering a band or song that moves you and, in a sense, links you to our journey.
Peace.
