The capture of Saddam Hussein was not good news for the Democrats and New England weather forecasters. Guys like Howard Dean and John Kerry (as of mid-afternoon, his blog was not updated) find themselves scrambling for the right thing to say in an event that provides a huge boost for President Bush. And the weather forecasters have to hate the fact they're getting second billing this afternoon as a snowstorm heads our way. The giddy on-air personalities who, on a normal news day, would be hogging headlines (interrupting football and everything else on TV) will be relegated to quick teasers after updates on Hussein's capture. Wonderful.
