The Blue Bag

When we visited a brother and sister-in-law in Baltimore, a blue plastic bag sat lodged in the tree branches, in their line of view from the balcony.

When we visited a sister and brother-in-law in Albany, a blue plastic bag sat lodged in the tree branches, this one higher.

What is it with blue plastic bags attaching themselves to tree branches?

The Baltimore blue plastic bag eventually disappeared.

How long will the blue plastic bag live in Albany?

And where do blue plastic bags go when they wriggle free?
