Super Sugar Crisp

One of my favorite cereals growing up was Post's Super Sugar Crisp.

In the early '70s, Euell Gibbons was the spokesperson.

I distinctly remember a TV ad where someone asks him, "how 'bout some crunchy nuts, Euell."

That was around the time you could get a free terrarium inside the cereal box.

Crunch.

I remember terrariums. They could be used for other things as well. Like growing hibiscus.

I still get the real Gibbons confused with the SNL parody of him.

Oh yeah, yum! And the milk left over in the bowl--sugary goodness!
