After a two-week self-imposed blackout of listening to the radio or watching local news, it's safe (almost) to return to local programming.
But what I don't understand is how the New England Patriots added a bunch of new players to the team. Almost everyone who calls into the local sports talk shows prefaces his or her comments with "we."
"We" should have won the game but the safety killed us.
"We" were in the game until Welker dropped the pass.
"I liked our chances until Brady got hurt."
"We had them. We were in control."
Really? I thought rosters had a cap.
I think it's just how Patriots Nation talks.
