I find the momo mixes of "Surrealistic Pillow" superior to the stereo mixes. Yes I Do!

It's not necessarily the sound that we're when we listen to music. Sometimes it's the memories we're after. When I hear music played in mono, on vinyl (especially vinyl) it brings back even more and wonderful memories like the ones I have of Saturday morning cleaning with my sister. We'd play "Help Me Ronda" 100 million times on my brother's state-of-the-art stereo that was the coolest in town. Yup, I can still hear where the song skipped, "Help me, help me, help, help, help, elp, elp, elp...

Liz - I can understand the nostalgic reasons for listening in mono, but I still think those memories would be clearer in stereo. As for Surrealistic Pillow, Mike, I have trouble seeing this. That was such a cutting-edge sound, I can't imagine being drawn in to Grace Slick's haunting vocals listening to the mono version.

Nope, they're much better on vinyl. Also, Madonna's Lucky Star with Pac Man in the background brings me back to the days of the 80s in Burlington, Vermont. You can't have the 80s without Pac Man! :)) walka-walka-walka-walka-walkawalkawalkawalwalwalwalwalwawawawawawa!!!!!
