So true; however, the more diffucult question to answer is what do you do about those customers who are never satisfied.

When customers begin to take more out of the business then they give, it may come time to walk away.

Some customers are "losers" on paper but actually deliver "soft dollar" value that makes them profitable. For example, a marquee customer may help bring in other customers that are pofitable.

Having said that, companies cannot satisfy every customer; even if they chose to. Some customers needs are simply impossible to meet.

Good points. But every effort should be made. The companies that are successful are the ones which make customer satisfaction a core business objective.
