Gifts are a part of life. You get them at birthdays, Christmas, weddings and showers, among other events in your journey.
But what makes a gift special are the words that often accompany the gift. It might be a little note on a card. The words can be few or many. It is the personal commentary, the thinking, the reason why the gift is in your hands.
So there's this little person who will be arriving soon. And the showers were threefold. There were many wonderful gifts. But the one that stands out was this hand-woven blanket, with the attached note:
"But what you must be most aware of is this gift is not what it seems. It can be used for warmth initially, of course. But it's real purpose is to provide security, comfort and love. It can offer Chloe a place to put her tears, a place to hide from the world, a receiver of inner secrets -- a soother of all her hurts from a fall to a broken heart. That's why this gift is not what it seems. It is really magic for a lifetime."
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, that's so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

In return, your lives will never be the same, they will be blessed forever! Every tear, every smile and every word will be special to you and yours. Thank you for the beautiful comments in your blog on the blanket... Start wrapping her in its warmth and love now. love, Karen
