The romantic lure of Major League Baseball is that anything can happen.
On a cool summer night at Fenway Park, Red Sox rookie Clay Buchholz held the Baltimore Orioles without a hit for nine innings.
Buchholz, who just turned 23 but looks more like 15, is the first rookie in Red Sox history to throw a no-hitter and the 17th in the team's long, storied history.
Last night's game was just his second Major League start. Talk about setting the bar early. And he's barely allowed to go to the bar.
Simply awesome.
That kid is phenomenal. I never saw so much movement on someone's pitches.

I was blown away by him. With his aw-shucks attitude, he reminds me of Tom Brady when he first appeared on the scene.
