My train got stopped at Central. I had to take an MBTA bus (two, actually) for the first time in my life and got caught in the downpour on the Harvard Yard side of the square, so there was NO shelter to be had -- unless I jumped into a three-inch-deep puddle and crossed the street. I did. In leather shoes. Worst commute ever...

That commute sucked. I waited almost an hour to get on one of the shuttles. Terrible. The MBTA needs to focus on infrastructure and service and not on the other PR stuff they're doing.

Kate - sorry to hear. Bummer.

James - the MBTA has many issues. And after what happened tonight, they will be facing some serious lawsuits.
