There's a "Seinfeld" episode where Elaine Benes and her boyfriend, David Puddy, are on a plane.
She's prepared with reading material for the flight and is astounded to see that Puddy doesn't have anything with him to read.
Nothing.
She asks what he's going to do on the flight and he proceeds to stare straight ahead.
He then utters two powerful words:
"I'm good."
It's good to "pull a Puddy" now and then. Just stop what you're doing, stare into space, think deep thoughts, breath deeply.
Minds that constantly fire burn out.
You need a little David Puddy in your life now and then.
This post of yours is one my favorites for various reasons. For instance, I now look at our cat, Dublin, in a whole new light when she sits somewhere facing a wall or whereever and just stares into space. I realize now that she is simply pulling a Puddy!

Tim - Dublin rocks. She has it all together.
