I miss power.
Since Sunday morning, we've been in the dark.
The tropical storm, seemingly harmless, breezed through our neighborhood and took out the power.
National Grid, our electric utility provider, has provided computer-response gibberish with no specific information.
That's encouraging.
Meanwhile, we're basking in beautiful sunny weather, shampooing our hair in the pool, piling up dirty dishes and laundry, and lugging buckets of water into the bathrooms so we can use the toilets.
We've thrown out a lot of good food.
We're getting used to living by flashlight.
But we're hanging in there.
Don't tell the folks in VT, the Catskills, and more than a few other places that the storm was over-hyped...

Agreed, Wefo. I should have specified our area. The storm didn't seem so bad in our region. But yeah, it was devastating elsewhere.
