After last Halloween's weather fiasco, we're generator-ready.

If we lose power, our lovely neighbors won't have to make us another kind offer to stay with them for a few days.

We'll have heat, we'll have lights, we'll have water, we'll have power.

No showers at work.

Political TV Ads

The TV attack ads are boring.

Regardless of your political preference, you have to be turned off by the barrage of ill-will.

Both sides are guilty.

It's bad karma.

Granted, politicians aren't going to spend money to paint a glowing portrait of their opponent. But the negativity flies in the face of positive thinking.

Any amusement or good feeling you get from regular TV programming quickly dissipates when you see those same drawn faces appear and spew venom.

It's really not patriotic. And it doesn't feel like the American way.
